TechMarketView in the Press

TMV in the pressOur report John Suffolk to leave Government CIO post on Tuesday got, perhaps, the highest number of comments in other ‘organs’ ever. The Information Age article is pretty typical of the coverage with Tola Sargeant quoted widely. The news had, as most readers will know, been ‘doing the rounds’ for ages. I think we did everyone concerned a public favour by at long last getting the Cabinet Office to confirm what everyone already knew.

We had several quotes in the Financial Times. John O’Brien in Offshore outsourcing – Location, Location Who cares anymore? And Tola, again, in UK Public Sector; Role under scrutiny as spending cuts loom. Anthony Miller contributed to an excellent article in Computerworld – Should I work for an Offshore Outsourcer? This should be read in conjunction to my post below TechMarketView..in the House of Commons.

Finally, I’m always interested to see how far away HotViews is read. My comments Facebook “It’s not email..” made it to the Economic Times of India.

It really is very satisfying to see TechMarketView’s influence growing stronger every week. HotViews is now read by c10,000 CEOs and senior execs in our sector. Judging by our inbox and your comments when we meet face-to-face, our views really do matter and indeed can have a real effect!
