This is the latest in a series of analyses giving TechMarketView subscription service clients our ‘first response’ of the potential impact on the UK software and IT services (SITS) market of the proposed spin-out of HPE’s Enterprise Services business and merger with CSC. The deal was announced on 24th May 2016 (see here) and is expected to close in March 2017.

BPS is particularly important to the pending CSC/HPE-ES merger – with both companies operating across the UK market – and the announcement coming just weeks after CSC closed its smaller, but strategically important acquisition of insurance BPS provider Xchanging (see here).
