SAP: Cloud HR differentiation through services practice?

When SAP appointed Mike Ettling to head up its unified HR business division, which combines cloud-based SuccessFactors with SAP’s on premise HR software, they were after his services expertise as much as his valuable knowledge of the HR market. One of his intentions is a focus on the lesser targeted services component of SaaS, to create a point of differentiation for SAP in cloud HR.
