The Financial Services sector is undergoing substantial change, as discussed in the recently published report entitled “Taking the Initiative: Leading with Technology in Financial Services”, co-authored by techUK and TechMarketView. FinancialServicesViews examines the key implications of these changes for the UK Software and IT Services supplier community. We consider the questions as to whether the faster dynamic in some parts of the financial services sector towards rationalisation and growth will result in higher external spend and whether the customers’ attitude towards suppliers, partnerships and utilities will change.
