Daisy Group must ride market disruption to accelerate its transformation

Daisy Group removed itself from AIM in 2015 to undertake a significant programme of change. Via the acquisitions of Damovo and Phoenix IT, Daisy Group has expanded from its original markets in telco and mobile services into IT services. Doing so opens up significant potential cross-sale opportunities into its existing telco/comms corporate and public sector customer bases. Similarly, the company will be able to expand the portfolio of services it delivers into the Phoenix and Damovo accounts. This bold move reflects a wider trend in the market, where IT and communications technology convergence is reflected in the changing shape of the SIs delivering these solutions to customers.

In this research note we examine the challenges Daisy faces as well as some of the opportunities for both the Group and the industry more broadly.
