If you believe that what the world needs now is more surveys, then I have jolly good news for you. There’s another technology platform vying to help corporates do their market research.
It’s London-based Attest Technologies, which recently raised $3.1m in a funding round led by Oxford Capital, and Episode 1 along with new angel investors. Incorporated in February 2015, Attest secured £1m in seed funding later that year from Episode 1.
As you might expect, Attest claims to make it simpler to design surveys and get them out to your target audience. Pricing is on a per-completed-response basis with, for example, 5 questions generating 250 ‘completes’ costing £563. Clients include M&C Saatchi and Deliveroo.
And as you asked, no, I don’t know if Attest’s founders surveyed the market to see if there’s a meaningful opportunity for another survey engine. But I assume the market will tell them anyway in the only way that matters.
