Our Journey

We are thrilled to be embarking on a new chapter under the leadership of Tola Sargeant, Georgina O’Toole, Deborah Seth and Kate Hanaghan. TechMarketView has grown and evolved considerably since it was founded by Richard Holway MBE and Anthony Miller, now both retired, in 2008. We’re proud to have become one of the most influential analyst and advisory firms in the UK tech market. A trusted advisor to a growing band of tech firms - from global market leaders to innovative start-ups – and to tech users, including large swathes of UK government and the financial services sector.

How we got here

TechMarketView is born

Anthony Miller and Richard Holway come together to form TechMarketView. UKHotViews and the Foundation Service are launched.

The team grows

Tola Sargeant & Georgina O'Toole join TMV. UKHotViewsExtra & PublicSectorViews launched.

First SME Programme

The Little British Battler programme is created championing UK tech SMEs.

Research broadens

BusinessProcessViews launched and Deb Seth joins the TMV team.

Inaugural TMV 'Presentation & Dinner'

Our flagship annual event is born with the first event held at BAFTA in London.

FinancialServicesViews launched

Kate Hanaghan joins the team and FinancialServicesViews research stream launched.

New exec team

Tola Sargeant is announced as Managing Director with Georgina O'Toole as Chief Analyst, Kate Hanaghan as Chief Research Office and Deb Seth as Sales & Marketing Director. The GreatBritishScaleup Programme comes into being to support UK tech Scaleups.

The business goes from strength to strength

Dale Peters, Duncan Aitchison, Marc Hardwick, Jon Davies, Simon Baxter and Craig Wentworth join the TMV team. The Innovation Partner Programme and TechSectorViews research stream launched.

Exec team undertakes TechMarketView MBO

Tola Sargeant, Georgina O’Toole, Deborah Seth and Kate Hanaghan complete Management buyout to lead TechMarketView in the next phase of its journey
