Cerillion closes out the year strongly

CerillionCerillion, the UK-based provider of billing, charging and CRM software to the telecoms sector, has released full-year results characterised by strong revenue growth and a sharp increase in profits. The financials for the 12 months ended 30 September 2021 show that revenue rose by 25% to £26.1m, with profit before tax up by 181% to £7.4m.

Cerillion’s performance accelerated in the second half of the fiscal, with the company having enjoyed a strong start off the back of changing patterns of consumer behaviour (see: Cerillion thrives as pandemic drives growth). By the year-end, recurring revenue contributed 33% (£8.6m) of Cerillion's total revenue and on an annualised basis was up 25% at £9.9m. Meanwhile new orders rose by 43% to £33m and the vendor's back-order book increased by 36% to £42m.

With a strong sales pipeline and all industry sectors impacted by a variety of digital initiatives, Cerillion’s future prospects appear strong. The permanent adoption of hybrid working and the increasing pace of the 5G rollout, are likely to help further improve the market environment over the short to medium term.
