Kate Hanaghan

A partner at TechMarketView, Kate Hanaghan is our Chief Research Officer with responsibility for driving forward the research agenda and running the team of analysts.

Kate joined TechMarketView in 2012 as Research Director for Infrastructure Services and maintained her research responsibilities alongside joining the TechMarketView leadership team in 2017. 

Her analysis is now focused on Cloud and Infrastructure Operations within the TechSectorViews research programme, tracking both large and small providers and examining the needs of buyers. Kate also has responsibility for managing TechMarketView’s relationships with a number of large clients and delivering bespoke work where required. 

Kate is a highly regarded analyst having spent around twenty years in the industry. She is a regular speaker and is well connected across the UK tech scene. 

Prior to joining TechMarketView, Kate was co-founder of K2 Advisory where she had key commercial responsibilities and ran the independent research programme for CIOs. 

She began her analyst career at Ovum where she worked with other key members of the TechMarketView leadership team. Prior to this, Kate was a journalist and online TV reporter specialising in technology.

Kate has a BA (Hons) degree in History with Psychology from the University of Gloucestershire.
