Capita emerging from a lean spell

Capita has had an uncharacteristically lean spell over the past couple of years, due in large part to the Government’s cutbacks and delayed investments on new outsourcing programmes, but also the odd-misstep taken. There are however signs that it has now turned the corner with a strong start to 2012, and promising signs for a return to organic growth this year. Nonetheless Capita still faces plenty of challenges across its business, not least in key target markets like IT services and life and pensions.
