UK local authorities are dealing with significant budgetary pressures. They are also faced with changes in government policy which have the potential to disrupt the structure and workings of local government. Perhaps then, it shouldn’t come as a surprise that we are seeing far fewer 10-year, multi-service line mega deals coming to market.
