Second-hand software: vendor implications

The European Court of Justice ruling on the resale of software licences in the Oracle vs. UsedSoft case is not something software suppliers can afford to ignore. It has the potential to disrupt the flow of licence and maintenance revenue and alter customer relationship dynamics. But it could also be a subscription accelerator.
