Telehealth: the next big thing?

The adoption of telehealth – which we broadly define as the use of technology to monitor patients’ vital signs remotely, usually in their own homes – is still nascent in the UK but a broad range of suppliers are jockeying for a good position on the ‘start line’. In this report we examine progress towards the adoption of telehealth services to date, analyse the emergent supplier landscape and present our view of the longer term outlook for the UK telehealth services market.
