Construction companies the 'unusual suspects' in UK BPS

The UK construction sector is taking an ever more active interest in ‘support services’ and its sub-set business process services (BPS). Multi-billion pounds construction players like Balfour Beatty, Interserve, Carrillion, Costain and Kier are looking to grow support services and BPS capability both organically and through acquisition, as a means to diversify from a core construction market in deep decline.
