Psyomics raises £2.4m to expand digital mental health platform

Psyomics logoCambridge-based healthtech Psyomics, has closed a £2.4m funding round to further expand access to its online mental health assessment platform for both individual users and NHS trusts. The round was led by Parkwalk with support from fellow existing investors Meltwind and BGF, alongside new investment from Newable Ventures.

A spin-out from the University of Cambridge, Psyomics’ Censeo platform was built by psychiatrists and psychologists to support earlier and improved mental health diagnosis and treatment management. With high and growing pressure on NHS mental health services, digital platforms such as Censeo can offer an alternative to face-to-face assessment and support clinicians (whether psychiatrists or not) with more efficient decision making.

Following a successful pilot with GP practices in 2021, we were pleased to see Censeo opened up to individual users for the first time earlier this year and new projects with NHS treatment providers also starting. Today’s funding will enable Psyomics to grow the team and expand further across the NHS.
