Georgina's journey with TechMarketView began in 2010 when she designed and launched the company's first specialist research stream, PublicSectorViews. Under her leadership, TechMarketView's knowledge and expertise of the UK Public Sector tech market became renowned, establishing the company as the leading light in the space. This success is a testament to Georgina's ability to blend her professional acumen with her natural sociability, building strong relationships within the industry. With over twenty years of experience tracking the sector and building her network, Georgina is regularly called upon by TechMarketView clients for her in-depth understanding of the UK Public Sector market and its suppliers.

In 2017, Georgina's role expanded when she joined TechMarketView's management team as Chief Analyst. This broader perspective allows her to deliver in-depth analysis, opinion, and advice across the UK tech market. She is also the creative force behind TechMarketView's annual research theme, predicting the likely direction of travel in the year ahead. Her expertise is not just confined to the office; Georgina believes in the power of fresh air to clear the mind and often finds inspiration while walking Scout, the family's energetic Sproodle.

2023 marked a significant milestone in Georgina's career when she was part of the team that undertook a management buyout of TechMarketView, 16 years after the firm's founding. Alongside fellow Partners, Deb Seth and Kate Hanaghan, Georgina is committed to ensuring TechMarketView continues to strengthen its key differentiators. This commitment to excellence is balanced by Georgina's appreciation for life's pleasures, whether it's enjoying a fine wine or crafting the perfect cocktail after a day of strategic planning.

Before TechMarketView, Georgina was Practice Leader for Ovum's Geographies & Industries practice, overseeing government and healthcare IT research globally. Her career trajectory includes significant contributions to Ovum Holway from 2000, where she provided valuable insights to enterprise and vendor clients on the UK software and IT services market. Georgina's expertise in the public sector, particularly in central government, defence, and criminal justice markets, made her a sought-after analyst for a diverse clientele including IT services companies, major defence contractors, and the UK Ministry of Defence.

Georgina's professional journey began as a business analyst for CMG (now CGI), working with clients in the transport & logistics and telecoms sectors. This early experience laid the foundation for her comprehensive understanding of the tech industry's impact across various sectors. In addition to her role at TechMarketView, Georgina is an elected member of the TechUK Board, currently serving her sixth year. This position allows her to contribute to the broader tech community while staying connected to the pulse of the industry.
