ServiceNow ups the pace with DotWalk

nowServiceNow has acquired California-based DotWalk to help its customers make upgrading easier.

DotWalk's solutions target ServiceNow upgrades and testing and it claims it can reduce the time taken to perform the former by 50%. DotWalk automates upgrades to save time in testing application changes - which also means developers can spend more time focused on higher-value business activities. dot           

ServiceNow is a regular acquirer, often looking to add capability to its Now platform. For example, it picked up Mapwize in August to support both the hybrid office experience for employees and the need to manage the space.

ServiceNow is having a stellar year from a financial perspective. In Q3, subscription revenue grew 32%, with the number of customers spending more than $1m with the firm annually up 25% to 1,266. Furthermore, although the firm is acquisitive, much of its growth looks to be organic, buoyed by strong demand for its SaaS-based software solutions, including the Customer Service Management platform contracted by Jigsaw24 last May.
