Access expands HR offering with Eploy acquisition

The Access Group logoThe Access Group has announced it has reached agreement to acquire applicant tracking system (ATS) provider Eploy. Terms of the deal, which are subject to regulatory approval, have not been disclosed.

Founded by Paul Burgess and Chris Bogh in 1998, Eploy’s software platform is designed to help HR departments optimise their recruitment process and hiring workflows. Since then, the company has established a strong customer base for its end-to-end solution, which includes applicant tracking, candidate sourcing, interview management, onboarding, compliance tools, dashboards and analytics and employee referral programmes.

The acquisition will complement The Access Group's existing HR and payroll portfolio, which includes payroll, workforce management, employee engagement, learning management solutions, and talent acquisition capabilities. Additionally, Eploy’s average customer size of 2,900 employees aligns well to The Access Group’s focus on mid-market organisations.

As we discussed in our latest UK SITS Supplier Rankings report, The Access Group has a strong M&A pipeline and solid organic growth drivers. The acquisition of Eploy follows its recent purchase of Fonn and should help to cement its position as the highest ranked (by revenue) UK-headquartered enterprise software business.
