An encouraging start for Cerillion

CerillionCerillion, the UK-based billing and CRM software vendor, has released interim results characterised by a healthy increase in both revenue and profits. As reported in the telecom specalists recent trading update (see: Another strong period for Cerillion) revenue for the six-months ended 31 March 2022 was up by 26% to £16.1% and pre-tax profit rose by 72% to £5.7m.

Demand from Cerillion’s existing customers was good, rising by 12% to £10.9m whilst its pipeline of new customers grew by 31%, to £172m. Services revenue was up 12% and now accounts for 63% of Cerillion’s overall turnover. Revenue from software licences, support and maintenance made up 31% of the total, with third-party revenue accounting for the remaining 6%.

Cerillion's fortunes have been helped by recent developments such as the adoption of hybrid working and the arrival of 5G. Across all sectors, customer engagement and workflow automation are two of the key technology themes since the advent of the pandemic and Cerillion looks to be well placed to capitalise on opportunities in these areas.
