Currys favours Mindtree

LogoMid-tier offshore firm Mindtree has enabled Currys, UK’s leading retailer of technology products and services, to establish a connected and highly personalised omnichannel shopping experience to its customers across multiple markets.

Delivered as a part of a multi-year engagement, the solution was built using Salesforce and Mulesoft technologies. It covers online, mobile, and in-store shopping, while supporting cross-channel fulfilment and inventory optimisation for Currys. Unified consoles have been deployed across the client’s 32,000 employees in its outlets, offices, contact centres, supply chain, and distribution centres. Currys views the engagement as a fundamental part of its transformation into a ‘digital-first’ omnichannel retailer.

Mindtree has been on somewhat of a roll of late ahead its merger with LTI which is expected to complete by next April. Having finished its best ever financial year at the end of March (see here), the firm started FY23 at a brisk pace. Global revenue in Q1 (the three months ended 30th June) increased by c.29% yoy at constant currency to just shy of $400m.
