Ingenta sees top and bottom line growth

ingentaOxford-headquartered Ingenta, a provider of software and services to the global publishing industry, is reaping the benefits of the early shoots recorded during its FY21.

First half results show that revenue increased over the comparable period last year to £5.3m from £5.1m. The performance comes on the back of a successful period for its Vista as a service offering. The firm has also refined its fast-track deployment of the Edify content distribution platform. The Group is aiming to sustain the overall revenue growth pattern by increasing sales to existing customer bases within its Commercial and Content divisions.

Having altered its strategic direction several years back, Ingenta is enjoying its first taste of revenue growth under CEO, Scott Winner. Key actions have included the provision of more comprehensive services to its Vista customers and delivery of web-based multi-tenancy products. Profitability has also improved in the first half (with Adjusted EBITDA up 67%) thanks to cost efficiencies that had been put in place previously.

Ingenta’s Board is predicting that full year results will come in ahead of current market expectations. The share price was up 1.5% at time of writing.
