Wipro has been selected by publishing group Hachette UK (HUK) to modernise its infrastructure through the implementation of SAP S/4HANA. Delivered on RISE with SAP, the engagement will involve a redesign HUK's entire enterprise applications portfolio across its finance, procurement, and sales departments to enhance the company’s source-to-pay operations.
HUK is made up of 11 autonomous publishing divisions, including Hodder & Stoughton, Octopus and Orion, and Paperblanks, the world’s second largest publisher of premium stationery. The company generates annual revenues of around £700m.
Following on from the recent mega deal success at Phoenix Group (see here), the HUK win comes as more welcome news for Wipro UK for which growth has been proving illusive during the last couple of years. The offshore major’s revenue in this country for the twelve months ended 31st March dipped by around 7% yoy (see here) mirroring the company's FY24 top line performance in the region.
