CentraStage triples revenue in 'pivotal year'

CentraStage logoWhen we first met CentraStage in January 2012 (see Little British Battlers – Q1 2012), we were impressed by the cloud-based IT management software provider. We recently caught up with Christian Nagele, CEO, to see how things have progressed since then.

We discovered that 2011/12 has been a pivotal year for CentraStage, in which it has tripled its revenue (whilst turning in a 20% EBIDTA margin); won a string of strategically important new clients; been shortlisted for several industry awards (including BCS’ ‘Cloud Provider of the Year’ alongside the likes of BT, Autonomy and Salesforce) and, of course, been chosen as one of TechMarketView’s LBBs! Indeed, CentraStage is the very definition of a ‘Little British Battler’, punching far above its weight both in the UK and, increasingly, internationally.

We’re particularly encouraged by CentraStage’s progress in both the UK education and healthcare markets. In both these markets we see tremendous potential for an offering like CentraStage’s as public sector organisations (schools, PCTs/Clinical Commissioning Groups) with constrained budgets look for ways to manage a distributed IT environment as cheaply, yet reliably as possible. And of course, the IT environment will only become more distributed as use of tablets and smartphones grows and more people work flexibly.
