In UK Government ICT Strategy: Progress and direction, we commented on the Cabinet Office’s launch of the Innovation Launchpad (see here). Through the Innovation Launchpad, Stephen Allott, Crown Representative for SMEs in the Cabinet Office, invited SMEs to pitch their business proposals for products and services to deliver better value for money for Government. By the end of the submission phase, the Innovation Launchpad had received a total of 351 proposals.
Australian-headquartered Objective Corporation, provider of content, collaboration and process management solutions exclusively for the public sector, was just one of the SMEs to submit a proposal. We recently met up with the management team from Objective: Founder and CEO, Tony Walls; UK GM Simon Etherington; and non-executive Director, Nick Kingsbury. Subscribers to PublicSectorViews can read more in our latest report: Objective Corporation: Finding a way into Whitehall.
