New research from TechMarketView

We are proud to announce the publication of IndustryViews Private Equity (IVPE), the third element of our IndustryViews research series. IVPE analyses the private equity and venture capital side of the UK software and IT services (SITS) sector, picking up where our recent UKHotViews commentary left off (see Grim quarter for private equity deals).

Besides an expanded analysis of the UK venture capital scene (with invaluable help from our friends at Ascendant), we have exclusive interviews with three leading investors: Paul Frew, at venture capital firm Elderstreet; Eric Lakin, at private equity turn-around specialists, Alchemy; and Nic Humprhies, CEO and head of tech at private equity firm Hg Capital.

IVPE should be essential reading for anyone trying to make sense of the real effect of the credit crunch on raising finance in the UK SITS sector!

IVPE, and recently released companion notes, IndustryViews M&A (IVMA) and IndustryViews Quoted Sector (IVQS), will be published each quarter to give you the most complete view on industry dynamics and investor sentiment among privately held and publicly quoted UK software and IT services companies.

The IndustryViews research programme is only available to clients of TechMarketView’s subscription research services. If you’re not one of them, you better contact Puni Rajah right away (prajah@techmarketview.com) and she’ll let you know how to join!

New from TechMarketView

We’ve just published the second report in our quarterly IndustryViews series, IndustryViews M&A (IVMA). Complementing ‘sister’ publication IndustryViews Quoted Sector (IVQS) published last month, we take a deep dive into the major consolidation activity in the UK software and IT services market, with the invaluable help of our friends at Regent Partners.

Later this month we’ll be publishing the third report in the series, IndustryViews Private Equity (IVPE) which, well, does what it says on the can! Also watch out for the next OffshoreViews quarterly review, including a round-up of the recent India-based IT/BPO results and outlooks, and the launch of CompanyViews, presenting our authoritative rankings of the leading suppliers of software and IT services to the UK market.

And don’t forget, we’ll soon be publishing a new edition of AnalystViews with the results of our research into ‘Cloud’ activities and attitudes in the banking sector. We're sure this will reveal some real surprises.

All of this is exclusively available to TechMarketView subscription service clients. What? You’re not one of them? Then you better contact Puni Rajah right away (prajah@techmarketview.com) and she’ll let you know how to join!
