*NEW RESEARCH* Attenda: Retracing its steps to growth

attendaAttenda has been backed by Darwin Private Equity since 2011 meaning the time looks right for a possible exit this year. The application hosting firm is well placed to serve enterprises requiring business critical hosting services – an area of the infrastructure services market that is growing strongly. However, Attenda has struggled to grow its core hosting business, although the Group has received a small uplift from the Datum datacentre business it established a few years ago. Some new client wins in the first half of 2016 have helped to lift what has been a fairly static topline performance in the past two years, but the company needs to power up its revenue flow and take better advantage of fast-growing areas of the market.

This research note examines Attenda’s performance and areas of potential growth, and we look at how that might impact a possible sale in the near term.
