*UKHotViewsExtra* UPDATE - SCC benefitting from mid-market digital demand

We caught up with James Rigby to discuss some of the trends around SCC’s UK Services business following the announcement of its annual results to the end of March 2018.

The UK in total hit revenue of £612m in the context of the entire EMEA Group (covering France, Spain and the UK), which achieved record revenue of £1.8bn (+9%) and EBIT of £27.7m (+10%). Services specifically increased 4% to £325m. 

SCC’s Services performance in the year mirrors many of its larger counterparts in UK Infrastructure Services. 2017 was incredibly tough with some struggling to find any growth at all - see Infrastructure Services Supplier Ranking 2018. However, like the market itself, growth patterns within SCC vary considerably by type of service. A particular growth hotspot was the firm’s own cloud platforms, which are popular with customers because of the services and security wrap it has created. More.....
