Check Point and Fortinet both saw higher rates of revenue growth in the 12 month period ending December 2021 compared to FY20 (and particularly in the fourth quarter). Acquisitions played their part but the acceleration also suggests many enterprises ramped up their spending on cyber security solutions after a pandemic induced lull in investment, particularly when it comes to strengthening the protection they have in place for remote and hybrid workers.
