*NEW RESEARCH* Local expertise key to success in the UK’s sustainability tech market

OUT NOW from TechMarketView is the Sustainability Technology Activity Index Q1 2024 – The UK View report excerpt.

STAI Q1 2024 - The UK View coverTechMarketView releases Sustainability Technology Activity Index Q1 2024 – The UK View today, continuing our sneak peek at data from first quarter of the year (a full series of reports on the 2024 calendar year – including a deep dive into the UK market, as well as global trends – will be published early in 2025).

We’re releasing the individual sections of the Index report as excerpts ahead of UN Climate Week next week. Today’s instalment, the fourth in the series, looks at how the UK market for sustainability technology activity compares to the worldwide picture.

Engineering and environmental consultancy RSK Group takes the top spot in terms of activity levels in the UK. Worldwide joint #1 SAP shares second place, whilst the other supplier sharing the global top spot – software-defined vehicle specialist Sibros – misses out on a UK top 3 ranking entirely. The Index shows that almost half of the UK’s most active suppliers in Q1 are headquartered in the UK, and with partnerships prevalent across the board, our data emphasises how local expertise is being used to gain a foothold in the country’s sustainability market.

This report follows on from last week’s Global Supplier Insights, Tech User / Use Case Insights, and Global Technology Insights excerpts. The final instalment (out on Wednesday 18th September), prior to publication of the compendium report, outlines ten Market Shaping Trends to watch.
